New Update: Customize Your BeatStars Marketplace Service Fee Experience

Music Diary

BeatStars has recently introduced a change concerning the Marketplace service fee at checkout – an update that was teased last month and has now been successfully integrated.

What Does This Mean for You?

This new feature provides sellers the option to either fully cover the Marketplace service fee on behalf of their customers or decide to share it with them.

A Quick Guide on Using This Feature:

If you’re a seller on BeatStars or considering becoming one, here’s how you can set your preferences:

  1. Log in to your BeatStars account.
  2. Navigate to “Payout Accounts” in your account settings. For non-Studio members, go to “My Media”.
  3. Under the “Service Fee” category, set your desired option:
    • You can choose to absorb the entire service fee, ensuring your customers don’t have to bear any extra cost.
    • Alternatively, you can select an option to share a certain percentage of the fee with your customers.

This update exemplifies BeatStars’ dedication to offering flexibility and autonomy to its users. Whether you’re a seller or a buyer on the platform, this new feature is aimed at streamlining the purchasing experience.
